Journal of Biochemical and Clinical Genetics is a fully open access journal, publishing articles on behalf of authors under CC BY 4.0 licensing agreements. Authors own the copyright of their articles at all stages of submission and publication and are free to deposit a copy of the submitted, accepted and/or final published PDF article in a preprint server, institutional repository, suitable subject repository, authors own website, or other form of research sharing network.
We recommend that the authors update the versions of their deposited articles with the relevant manuscript status, changing from submitted to accepted, to published as appropriate.
After acceptance, authors should include a link from the deposited version to the URL or DOI of the published article on the journal's website. This would help in protecting the integrity and authenticity of the scientific record, as the online published version on the journal’s website is the final version of record of the article.
Authors are also advised to check the archiving requirements of the funding agency (if the study was funded) to ensure compliance with the archiving policy of the respective funding agency.
